Bolton Wanderers FC

Ridding managed Bolton Wanderers FC for a spell of 17 years which spanned between 1951 and 1968. He helped the Trotters win the FA Cup in the year 1958 and managed them while the club were in the first and then second division. He previously managed Tranmere Rovers for twenty matches; however his period in charge was interrupted by World War Two.
