Roy Greaves

Greaves made his debut for Bolton during the 1965 -66 season and soon became a permanent fixture in the Bolton side and went on to enjoy a successful 15 year career with the club. His finest season was the 1972-1973 campaign as he played in every league match during a season that Bolton won the third division championship title, with Greaves being an outstanding contributor to the cause. In total, Roy Greaves made 495 league appearances for the club and scored 66 goals and is arguably to this day the greatest midfielder to have played for Bolton.

Warwick Rimmer

Rimmer came through the ranks at Bolton Wanderers and made his first appearance at the club during the very early 1960’s. He was an awesome half back, who was a tough tackling football player. He was installed as the captain of their football club in the late 1960’s and captained Bolton to winning the third division title in 1973. He left the club in the year 1974 after spending 14 successful years with the Trotters. In total he made 528 appearances for Bolton and scored 17 goals in his career.
