Jay Jay Okocha

Okocha started his career off playing for German football club, Eintracht Frankfurt in 1992, spending four years at the club before moving on to play for Turkish football club, Fenerbahce in 1996. After a two year spell in Turkey he went on to play for French team, Paris St Germain, making nearly 100 appearances for the club. After impressing at the 2002 world cup finals for Nigeria, he moved on to sign for Bolton Wanderers. He enjoyed a really successful four years with Bolton scoring some outstanding goals and became a fans favourite. He helped Bolton reach the Carling Cup final of 2004 and helped the club progress higher in the premiership during his time. He is arguably one of the most skilful players to have played in the premiership since it was formed.

Kevin Nolan

Nolan made his debut for Bolton Wanderers during the 2001-2002 season and made an instant impression at the club, scoring two goals against Leicester City on the opening day of the season. He went on to score eight goals during his first campaign in his midfield position. He was outstanding for the club during the 2002-03 season, scoring the winning goal in a league match against Manchester United. He scored an outstanding 12 goals for Bolton during the 2003-2004 campaign, a season where he helped Bolton reach the final of the Carling Cup. During this time he played for the England under 21’s. He was installed as the new captain at Bolton during the 2005-2006 season and is a true leader in the squad. Many people even argue that he should be an instant selection in the England national squad due to his fantastic play.

Kevin Davies

Davies started his career playing for Chesterfield during the 1994-1995 season and was outstanding for the club, helping them heroically reach the FA Cup semi final. In the summer of 1997, he moved to Southampton and became an instant success for them, scoring nine crucial goals during his only year with the football club. He signed for Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 1998 for £7.5 million, he only went on to make a handful of appearances for the Blue and whites before returning to Southampton for a second spell in 2000, spending three years with the club. In July 2003 he signed for Premiership club, Bolton Wanderers and his career re started as he was outstanding for the club during his debut season, winning the ‘Bolton football player of the year award,’ and helping the club reach the final of the league cup. He has now made over 125 appearances for Bolton Wanderers FC.

Nicky Hunt

Hunt made his debut at the end of the 2000-2001 season for Bolton in a match against Sheffield United. He made his breakthrough in the Bolton team during the 2003-2004 season and became an instant a regular in the side. His great play at Bolton earned him a call up into the England under 21 football team making his first appearance for his nation in February 2004. He has now made over 100 appearances for Bolton and is seen as a potential player in the England national squad.
